Paycheck-based budgeting app

ClearCents

Role

Founder, designer, and lead developer

Year

2026

Most budgeting apps assume you have a steady monthly income. ClearCents starts from a different premise: most Americans live paycheck to paycheck, and a paycheck-based budget is the only one that holds up.

Users enter their paychecks on a real calendar, log their bills with frequency rules (weekly, biweekly, monthly), and the app automatically computes the right per-paycheck allocation — even handling tricky cases like biweekly bills in 3-paycheck months.

Features include household sharing, low-balance alerts, an AI assistant (powered by Claude), Stripe-powered subscription tiers, transactional email, and a Capacitor-wrapped mobile build for iOS and Android.

Custom e-commerce platform

Pretty Penny Boutique

Role

Lead developer

Year

2025

Pretty Penny had outgrown Shopify — they were paying for features they did not need, while the features they actually wanted (live sale management, custom shipping rules, branded invoices) cost extra at every level.

We rebuilt the entire store on Next.js with a Supabase backend and Stripe Payment Links for checkout. The admin panel handles listings, orders, coupons, live sales, sales reports, and invoices — and the Site Settings page lets non-developers update the announcement bar, hero image, shipping config, and social links without touching code.

Wishlist + gift registry app

Gift Circles

Role

Founder and developer (in development)

A wishlist app built around a simple insight: the existing options either feel corporate (Amazon Registry) or do not handle the 'group of friends pitching in on one gift' use case at all.

Gift Circles uses Supabase Row-Level Security to keep claims hidden from the wishlist owner, supports both free and Pro tiers (Stripe-powered), and integrates affiliate links so gift suggestions earn a small revenue stream.
